  • Amazon shoppers shrug off the second Prime Day sale. Data from third-party analysts shows the discount event failed to attract as many shoppers* as Amazon’s Prime Day in July. They estimate Amazon brought in $5.7 billion in revenue from the Prime Early Access Sale vs. $7.5 billion in July. But one analyst suggested it accomplished what Amazon set out to do, which is to reduce a glut of products in its warehouses.
