Google is Bringing Generative A.I. to Search. "Converse" by Google ($GOOG) will be able to synthesize search results from complex queries. It’s part of a new effort called Search Generative Experience, or SGE. It’ll be available to Labs users over the “coming weeks,” and users can access it by tapping on the Labs icon in the Google app or on the desktop version of Google Chrome.

US Inflation Shows Signs of Moderation, Providing Breathing Room for the Fed. In April, inflation dipped to 4.9% as the economy displayed signs of slowing down. Although inflation has moderated from its recent peak, it remains persistently elevated. Consumers seem to be becoming more selective, yet they continue to willingly spend* on specific items and services.
