  • Nasdaq freezes Chinese small-cap IPOs after price spikes. The Nasdaq Stock Market has quietly halted listings of small-cap Chinese companies, holding up approval letters and demanding more information about related parties in deals. The exchange has privately informed lawyers over the past few weeks that new listings of small-cap companies were being subjected to additional reviews,* and approvals were suspended until further notice.
